Trump announces presidential delegation to attend Akufo-Addo’s second inauguration

President of the United States, Donald Trump has announced a presidential delegation to attend the inauguration ceremony of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo, the President -elect of Ghana on Thursday 7th January, 2020.

The announcement was made on January 4, 2021 on the White House Website.

The statement reads “President Donald J. Trump today announced the designation of a Presidential Delegation to attend the second Inauguration of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana, on Thursday, January 7, 2021, in Accra, Ghana”

The United States Special Envoy for the Sahel Region of Africa together with the Ambassador, Honorable Dr. J. Peter Pham will lead the delegation.

The United States Ambassador to Ghana, Honorable Stephanie S. Sullivan will also join the delegation.
